Stage Parents
Yup. We're entering our little man. I first read about the contest in the newspaper column a friend of mine wrote, then our downstairs neighbor said they were entering their daughter, then a friend from church told me she was getting in on the action. Might as well join the fun. The odds are probably not great, but might as well. If (by some chance) we do win, he gets:
-Participation in a professional babyGap photo shoot
-Featured in our local Gap store window and Child Magazine
-$5000 college fund
-A year supply of babyGap clothing
-And more (with an exclamation point).
We have to pick 5 photos that we've taken to submit. Judging criteria:
-34% overall appearance of the baby as shown in the photo
-33% overall personality of the baby as expressed through the photo
-33% quality of the photograph.
So, dear friends, we need help picking some winning photos. We're going to make our final decision on Thursday (Nov 2).
Click on over to our family website, here, to view, then vote in the comments section of this post.
And if he doesn't win...well, we have some inspired photographs of him to keep forever and we've gotten a taste of what it's like to be stage parents.
Thanks!
Clarice

Since I mingled in and out of the entertainment industry since I was 13 or 14 years old, I have some strong recommendations!
1. Beach Baby
-I think this is a winner. They'll eat this one up.
2. Garage #1
-Spontaneity. Looks like a pose, but we know babies don't pose :)
3. Bathtub
-His expression shows his enthusiasm for life and in another different environment.
4. Laundry #3
-Cute without trying...kind of unpredictable expression.
5. Mirror #1
-Besides dressing like a Gap baby, you can see how well he interacts with others babies (even though he's only interacting with himself in the mirror).
-juli :)
Wow, this is hard...I realized I skipped Sitting #1. I guess, maybe replacing Mirror #1 - since his opened-mouth smile is already displayed in Beach Baby. I think variety of great expressions is key :)
My nephew made it to the final casting call. All was good and then he froze up. Well, its all for the best now his cuteness can remain known to a lucky select few :)
Such a cutie! I vote for beach baby, Garage #1, bathtub, baby in the mirror#1 and laundry #1. Hope his eosophageal sphincter is stronger by the time casting call comes around! ;)
all the pictures are real cute! here's my vote: beach baby, garage #1, laundry #1, mirror #2; garage #2
Wow! Thanks for the input so far!
I'm probably too late... but
Mirror #3, Garage#2, Bathtub, Sitting #2, Laundry #2...
He is adorable... did you say how he did?
Miss you girl!
